Two Months and Still Counting

We started arrangements in October to ship our car from Germany to California. Arranging for pick up turned out to be a series of mistakes. Ultimately, Rinkens did NOT give "door-to-door" service and we needed to deliver the car to a drop-off location
out of town. We last saw our car on December 3rd. Eighteen days later, it was on a ship for NY, although ships leave Bremmerhaven daily for NY. The ship arrival was scheduled Dec 29. In fact, it was late in NY and then held by Customs until Jan 20. Now Rinkens
says that it will not go inside a container to California, but by truck. So much for winter weather protection. However, as I write this (Feb 3) they have been unable to find a truck driver. I give them two stars only because they have responded to my emails.
On substance, I would give them NONE, if that were an option. Meanwhile, our furniture, shipped by a different company, has been here for weeks.
