Academy Automotive does very good work, and the owner finds time to answer all questions regarding the vehicle to be repaired, however, beware of "hiden" charges. A word to the wise, the estimate is ONLY an estimate. Expect to pay about $600 more than the quoted price. This is a common practice with this company. Get a list of parts that the owner "recommends" be replaced and purchase them yourself. You will save yourself about $300. The company charges at least double the price of the parts to be replaced. During the initial verbal or written estimate the owner should disclose to the consumer that there WILL be parts that need to be purchased so expect the final cost to be higher than the estimate.
