Since I am not at the age to move heavy things anymore, I decided to hire a professional moving company to help me out. And must I say, the did much more than help me out! I've always had bad experiences moving, and when I moved everything myself. It has always been stressful, and I would always end up with some sort of injury. A friend of mine recommended to hire a professional moving company (Acclaimed Movers) to assist me in my move. I was a little hesitant, but he insisted. I ended up calling them to get a quote. They gave me a very good price, and in my opinion, I felt that it was worth the try. On the day of the move, 3 movers came right on time. In a blink of an eye, my entire apartment was compactly fit in their moving truck. I was beyond surprised. When we arrived to my new apartment, they unloaded everything just as quick and efficient with none of my stuff damaged... even more surprised. But it gets better, they helped me install my bed and move around my furniture in my new apartment which wasn't promised in the quote. To top it all off, the final price ended up being less than what the quote was because I had less items than expected. I was very pleased with their honesty and integrity, so I payed them the original price anyway. I don't know how other moving companies are since this is my first experience, but if your going to go with a moving company, i really recommend you go with acclaimed movers. I didn't regret, I'm sure you won't either.
