On February 2009, I received a phone call from Mr. Michael Gronwall, Loan Officer of Ameripath Mortgage Corp. He explained to me that I was qualified to obtain a new loan with better interest rate and possible a capital reduction. My only initial "investment" would be to pay for a new appraisal of my current home. I thought this sounds "too good to be true" but Mr. Gronwall impress me with his self-confidence and professionalism. So I said let just give this a try, but truly I was not even remotely positive about it. After months of hard work, a couple of rejections from investors, and more request for additional information, at the end we closed our loan on August 10, 2009 and it was fully funded on August 14, 2009. Michael never give up on us, he persisted and as a winners do, he accomplished his goal, get us a loan in the terms he promised us to do. To better understand our feelings let just share with you copy the email my wife Maria sent to Michael Gronwall after we signed the papers of our new loan: "Michael, We have no words to Thank you for all your help, professionalism, customer service, time, research, calls and effort.. it paid off. Mario and myself in the beginning thought no way this could be true. But we could not pass this opportunity and decided we had nothing to lose except all the appraisals cost, but we’ll try it and again it paid off! Do to you we now have a way better interest rate, better monthly payment, and reduction in the capital..
We signed last night. I had never signed so many papers in my life, it was like 100 plus pages, but it was worth the time.
