I have never before written a review but I had such a bad experience that I felt compelled to comment. The technician was friendly enough but recommended I purchase a new a/c unit or a $900 part to fix my a/c problem. I chose to get another opinion and the second a/c company was unable to find the "Freon leak" and did not even mention purchasing a new unit. A representative from Air Around the Clock, Frank, called to follow up "on the service call" but seemed extremely agitated when I explained to him that the experience was disappointing and a waste of $95 (no work was done). He abruptly told me, once he realized that he would not be selling me a new a/c unit, that I could call back and talk to a manager if I had an issue with the service (keep in mind that he called me to supposedly follow up on the service). Another person called me back after my conversation with Frank but he was equally confrontational and belittling.
I have used Air Around the Clock for the last 4 years but I have had enough. My recommendation to management is to change their focus from selling to providing a service. My biggest issue in not with the technician but with the way that management chooses to run their business. In the short time that I have worked with A & D A/C out of Davie, I have nothing but positive things to say.
