Be aware that your quote will not be your final bill and by far. On top of the original bill:
- an extra charge for goods by volume: an extra 100 cubic feet in my case ($532 extra - otherwise negotiated down to $225 in view of original quote).
- an extra charge to pick goods up from a storage unit on the 3rd as opposed to 1st floor ($400 extra)
- charging for Port Handling Charges ($896) - after being told there would be no further charges
- 3% commission on top of original quote for use of debit card (otherwise classified as a credit card)
- countless hours trying to negotiate a refund and filing a complaint with the BBB.
- costs for instructing a lawyer
don't do it: moving is stressful enough. Rinkens can seriously damage your health.
