Do not make any online purchases from this company as their products are not of a good quality and they are extremely difficult with their return policy.
I bought two model cars from them. Both had flaws. On one the muffler was dented but this was a minor flaw so I decided to keep it. The other model (HWT6251 Ferrari 599XX Elite) had two missing parts and one manufacturing flaw. They allowed us to return it for a replacement. I re-packaged the model with all the original packaging except the plastic bands that held the trunk and hood in place. I had to cut these off to inspect the car. Two of the flaws were under the hood and in the trunk. Instead of plastic bands I used elastic bands.
Upon receiving the return they complained about the condition of the model. They alleged the hood and trunk got loose during the shipping and chipped the paint. They complained that I had not used all the original packaging when I returned the car. It was a Catch-22. I had to cut the plastic bands to inspect the car but once I cut the bands I couldn't use ALL the original packaging.
Initially they refused my request for pictures of the damage. When they finally sent pictures I couldn't clearly see the damage they were alleging. They refused to send me a replacement unless I bought another model car from them. Or they would re-send the original. I refused both choices and asked them to refund my money. The model was flawed when I got it and they hadn't proven that I had damaged the car on it's return. They refused and now I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
Do not purchase model cars from this company. Or if you do try to inspect the model without removing any of the orignal packaging.
The only reason I've picked 1 star for this company is because it won't let me pick zero stars.
