You are reading an edited version of what I wrote in May 2010.
I have raised my opinion of this company based on the performance of the garment I bought, and the compliments I've received on it.
I still maintain that what you think you're buying may not be what their website portrays it to be, but let's get real: For what I paid for my "Brioni" knock-off linen suit, I now feel that I got a perfectly square deal.
My suit looks nice, and I will keep it, as I only paid 130 bucks for it. I expected before ordering that it is a fake; I took it to my tailor (25 years experience) and told him to check it out. He was not real impressed, but for what I paid, no big deal.
The tags say "Blanco Brioni", whatever that is; a Loro Piana label is also sewn into it, which is nuts, because Loro Piana is a woolen mill in Italy, and the suit is made of linen!!!
OK, I'm no idiot, and don't expect a Brioni anything for $130. I'll keep and enjoy the linen suit and not worry if I get spaghetti sauce on it.
I still maintain that Darya should be more upfront about what you're receiving, but hey, the suit arrived in a timely manner, fits well, hangs fine. So why not tell us exactly what you're selling? Darya, please don't say "Brioni" when it's just a knockoff with a similar name. And don't imply that you're selling $2000.00 suits. You aren't.
I've increased my rating from 1 star to 3, and will likely buy another product from Suits4MenOnline. I've spent a lot of time trolling for suits on the web this summer, and Darya's product and pricing actually looks pretty good. Just don't expect tip top quality for a rock bottom price. Expect a $400-$600 suit for less than $200, and I'm OK with that. I'm unable to comment on their return/restocking policy and hope I never have to.
For the guys (and gals) out there in webland: if you don't mind owning a knockoff, perhaps made in China, go ahead and order. If you're looking for a real deal on a legitimate brand, there are plenty of other sources.
