Buyers beware! H.P. has become so big that they no longer have a since of customer relations. From day one I had problems with this computer, the DVR never worked talk to tech support till blue in face, they said I had to dissemble the computer pull out the board drop some soldier on the contact and it should work, I am not a tech I told them they said that was the only way to fix the issue, my daughter had the same computer and had the same issue, we just gave up and never used the feature. Now Iam just trying to replace my DVD drive that broke. I was told I had to go through the parts store then I was told I had to talk to chat and get a special code for a discount but still place the order myself. I did that. 1 week later I receive the wrong part not the part I ordered. I contact the phils talk for an hour or so trying to explain it is wrong, they said you will have to buy another one, then when we get the other part back we will credit your checking account. Talk to a case manager explained it, he talked to them, and they agreed to send the part out while the other is being returned no charge. 2 day later I receive the same wrong part! I have a close Family member is dying of Leukemia Cancer, so I had to place this on a back burner for a month. Contacted HP case manager(3rd one I have had since starting this) Michael, explained the problem, he put store on line she starts the order, he hangs up, she says I won't get it for the same price they had a increase I have to pay more! I call Mike back his answer was I can't do anything about that, maybe send you a coupon for a discount on another product to make up the difference. WT#! They don't understand why that is so wrong. He and Ginger would have no problem paying more because of price increase for an item that they paid for once already. Ginger is the girl in "Executive Relation” She still confused...she said she wouldn't have a problem paying more to get the right part. I said the part they sent cost more, than the one I purchased, that was only 57.00 now it's 72.00. The one they sent cost 100.00 so what if it too big for my computer! I have now spent a total of 18.5 hours on trying to get my part. I am taking this one to a local part store and trade it in for the one I need, sell my H.P. and buy an Apple at least I will get to talk to someone in the USA. That should be factual enough.
