CROOKS! While tire shopping for my 2006 Ford Five Hundred Limited with Pirelli P6 all season 225/55R/18 tires I found Horizon Tire & Automtive had the best price. Their web page advertised them for $99.16. Upon calling they quoted my $211.00 per tire, more than double what they advertise them for on their website. When questioned, they stated that the ad was for old tires they were trying to get rid of and that they were sold long ago. They stated they would change their web page immediately but did not offer any sale or replacement tire for their error. It is now 8 days later and their website still advertises these tires on sale for $99.16 per tire. I think it is a bait and switch, get them in the door and then sell them something a lot more expensive to get as much money out of a customer as possible. Well they crossed the wrong customer, I fight back for my rights as well as for the rights of others. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, as well as others. We will see how long they can get away with false advertising which is illegal.
