Review 4/21/2010
I've been playing games campus games off and on for a few years now. As of late it has largely been Shot Online, but I occasionally dabble in Manga Fighter and Asda Story. My experiences across these three are what guide my following comments. No company is perfect, I can't say that the service I've received here is faster than anyone in the world. But I can say that they've tried. The experiences I've had interacting with staff, when it has been necessary, has been fairly cordial. If they don't know an answer they tell me, I don't really hold it against them when they don't know because I've spent years in Computer Repairs. I've been on the other side of the conversation and had someone completely ignorant of their issues slam me because I couldn't magically make it better.I often wondered if the problem is so simple why didn't they fix it themselves? But I digress. The Asda GM is very nice, She works alone against a mountain of work and does it quite fast and with, from my experiences, a very peppy attitude. Her quirky nature melded well with my own and I enjoyed our conversation. I still wish Gameguard would die in a fire but at least we tried to figure it out. (If you were curious it just ended up working on its own...which is why I wish gameguard would die in a fire :/Manga Fighter has been interesting. The GM I have dealt with was kind of weird but he did seem pretty active. I have seen them in game a few times now and have even gotten to play with them on multiple occasions. There is something oddly satisfying about shooting them...I don't quite know if that is a positive or a negative. My experiences with shot online have been fairly sweet. I haven't needed any help with the game so I can't say much about the GM side of it but the cash shop is fairly well laid out and there isn't much left to mystery. In terms of gaming experiences it has been one of the better free experiences I've had. I do notice people on the forums do seem a little bitter but I don't want to speak for them.Overall I'd give the company 4 stars. No company is perfect, but I do think that they seem to be trying. Certainly things could be improved but if you asked me how I feel about any company or product I'd say the same thing. I'd certainly deal with them again in the future if need be. If I were to make a complaint about them I'd say they are probably understaffed. If nothing else looking into working smarter and not harder? I dunno, I know my experiences at Best Buy were largely complex because the company tried to swim upstream. That's again a digression...I do that a lot.
