Stay away from this company. They promise struggling homeowners that they will help you through every step of the loan modifcation process. We paid PLS $2500. They helped us at the beginning by typing and submitting a proposal to B of A. When it came to the end of the process (stage 3), we did ALL of the leg work. B of A sent us a loan mod. proposal and PLS was NOWHERE to be found! We called and called! Finally, 2 days before B of A required the signed, notarized papers back, PLS finally called. PLS was suppose to guide us through the process and they seriously DROPPED the BALL when we needed them the most. We had to arrange and pay for a notary to sign the documents immediately or we would lose our house. Our rep. with B of A had never heard of our rep. from PLS, because he never called her. WE DID EVERYTHING other than the original paperwork. Did I mention that they took 2 months longer than the contract stated to complete the process??? PLS refuses to give us back any of our $, even though they were CLEARLY in BREACH of our contract with going 2 months over the 120 days stated in the contract! Buyer BEWARE! IF IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT IS!
