Our furniture was moved from the house we sold to a local storage unit. We were charged the 5000 lb rate by Bekins. Bekins was unable to deliver our furniture from the storage unit in California to Boulder CO close to our move-in date(they were too busy) so we selected Prestige (who was not the lowest price). They did do some additional wrapping which we were charged for. However, the weight suddenly jumped from 5000# to 7500#. Amazing how a few boxes and wrapping paper weighed over a ton. I asked for tare weights and scale weights but of course never received any. Wish I had read the reviews before I hired them.
