We purchased Toast 10 in July of this year and used it successfully for several months to transfer shows from Tivo to the computer, and then burn onto a DVD. For an unknown reason, the software starting doubling the size of the programs which caused me to use 1 DVD per show, instead of fitting 4 shows onto 1 DVD. After writing back and forth to their support group, with a great deal of misdirection and nonsensical language from their support group, I received the following message today, 11/29/2010: "Considering the extensive, unsuccessful trouble shooting attempts of your problem we are unable to offer you any further solutions for your issue and will have to discontinue any further support." This company can not explain how to solve problems when their software stops functioning. I requested free phone support (they charge by the minute) to get this straightened out on my computer and they declined to do provide that Their support people do not read the entire support ticket when responding, which forced me to re-write the issue multiple times over and over again. It was an extremely frustrating experience. They have offered me a full product refund, which I will take them up on. Stay away from Roxio if you can! They really don't support their product, in my experience.
