Limit on E-Mail Address Look-Ups
|
Lesson Learned.....the HARD way. Always read "reviews" on something prior to signing up for a subscription. I was using Spokeo to confirm address info for our class of 475 alumni (for an upcoming class reunion), and I noticed that some "hits" had e-mail addresses. Great! This was an area which our contact spreadsheet was severely lacking. However, eventually, I came upon my limit of e-mail displays with my basic membership. So, I upgraded to Business, thinking I would get a bunch more opportunities to obtain e-mails. Not so!!! Seems that, despite paying a greatly higher price for the searches, the number of e-mail displays weren't significant AT ALL!!! And, now they want me to upgrade to ENTERPRISE level?!!! Yeah, so they can screw me again with a limited number of searches?!!! No thanks! Just a heads-up...you can get ADDRESS info almost anywhere from other sites for free. I used Spokeo for the e-mail address hits. But, if you are considering subscribing to Spokeo for this, think twice.....they don't provide MANY at all. Once my subscription is over, no way in ____ that I'm renewing!!!

Dear Richard, Thank you for your message. I'm sorry to hear that you were not aware of our search quota limit and hope to assist you in whatever way possible. All of our Premium Content is under a search quota limit. This implementation will not only ensure that your email searches continue to remain smooth and quick, but also will allow us to add more supported networks into our database in the future. This term is made very clear on our payment page, as it is included in the disclaimer which has to be agreed to before the purchase is processed. To ensure that our payers are aware of this, we even provide the link for the Plan Specification as part of the disclaimer. I do apologize again if this was unclear in any way. Please feel free to contact us via our contact page, as we wish to resolve this issue for you. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience. Sincerely, Spokeo
