I wish I would have read these other 2 reviews before I interacted with this company...it would probably have saved me some grief. I agree with both other postings; the owner of the company, Jim, is very hostile an uncooperative. I had this company do a free quote for replacement windows. I initially thought I would go with them and provided a credit card number for the down payment necessary for ordering the windows. The next day I called and cancelled the order. They had not come to do final measurements yet, and therefore had not ordered any windows at that time. But, they had already charged $2500 to my credit card anyway. The office manager, Jeff, advised that they would be able to reverse the charge. Every week for 3 consecutive weeks I called and left messages indicating that the charge still had not been credited. Finally, the owner, Jim, called me back and advised that they would not be refunding my money because they had lost revenue. He was very belligerent and argumentative. When I explained the whole cycle of events to him, he first told me that I would have had to call him personally to cancel. He subsequently told me that the only way to cancel is in writing and brought my attention to some small print at the bottom of the contract stating this. However, that section of the contract has a separate signature line for the buyer to "accept" that clause...I had never signed it. Regardless, they still won't credit my money back. I have now done a dispute through my credit card company and my lawyer has left several phone messages with the company who will not return the call. I DO NOT recommend doing business with this company. The owner is disrespectful and the tactics are slimy. The only reason for giving them one star is that the system won't allow for zero stars.
